What we had to do
When filming our horror movie opening it was important that we didn't put any of our actors or filmers at risk of injury. We did this by not using any dangerous or sharp objects within our shots just incase if someone was to get cut by a sharp object.
Before we started filming in the shed and just outside of it we had to clear the area for any dangerous or hazardous objects on the floor. We cleared these object in the day so we could make sure we not miss anything that could be seen as dangerous. This included nails, spades, rakes, pick axes, sement mixer and other objects of the floor. This was important because as we were filming in the dark these object were not very visable so they would be easy to trip over. Esspecially the nails as they are small but if someone was to step on one it could result in them going to hospital as they were rusty.
When we filmed it was very cold and icey. This meant that we could not stand on any objects outside in the shots just incase if someone was to slip over or fall off of the object. We had to find ways around doing this to make sure their was no danger involved when filming. RG
