What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
We used a tripod to make our shots more:
We used a high-end Apple Mac computer, equipped with Final Cut Express, in order to edit our footage. Using Final Cut, we organised our shots into a timeline which gave us the basis from which we created the final product. We then added in a few minor effects that looked realistic and not too unprofessional. We then also added in sound to invoke the audience's emotions in more ways than just sight.
Another piece of software that we used was Livetype, which we used to create all of our titles from scratch, which includes everything from our main title as well as our individual titles. We also created our production and distribution company fonts on Livetype as well. This is the camera/camcorder that we used to film all of our movie opening sequence. We had to mount this camera on our tripod to make the shots stable and professional. To put the shots onto Final cut express from the camera we needed to Log and Transfer the shots. To do this we had to plug the camera into the Apple Mac with a USB cable and then you need to click "file" the click on "Log and Transfer". After this you will see all the shots that you have filmed on your camera, you then click on the correct shots that you want to put into final cut express. After this the shots will be entered to your project and you will be ready to go.
